If you sign in, QuranSync uses Firebase Authentication. We store the account identifier and the email address provided by the sign-in provider so you can recover your memorization progress.
Pages, revision dates, and recap data you save are stored in Firebase Firestore under your account and may also be cached on your device so the tracker works offline.
Bookmarks, azkar history, prayer calculation settings, and app preferences stay in local storage on your phone. Prayer reminders and the home-screen widget use the location you allow, saved only on the device, to calculate times. The app does not sell this information.
Prayer times, Qiblah, and nearby mosques need your location while you use those features. Mosque search sends a request to the OpenStreetMap Overpass service for places near you. The map tiles come from OpenStreetMap.
Prayer reminders are scheduled on your device. They are not sent from a remote messaging campaign.
